Adobe is going to scrap their hard copies (disks) for their software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash), and have you pay a subscription for the latest software called the Adobe Creative Cloud. $50 per month. Could you really afford such an expense in the long run?

This is really disturbing. Please hear what he has to say, it really is a serious situation for working artists. Pass this along so others may know about the Adobe Creative Cloud and how horrible it is.

Yep… Just went to see how much Flash costs. You know, to just buy the program? Guess what? After spending a while looking, it appears that you CAN’T anymore. You have to pay an outrageous subscription fee. I hate adobe. Is there a petition going around to stop this nonsense? Because I want to sign it.

Today I just signed the petition in the voice against the Adobe Creative Cloud. For those who are not familiar with what the new Creative Cloud can do to you as an artist, I really suggest you watch this video.

For those who have seen, reblogged, faved, here’s the link (as shown in the previous reblog) to sign the petition. Anything can happen, Adobe really needs to know that many artists are not supportive of them controlling not just the software..but the content worked on the Cloud.

This is why I use Corel Painter :|b So few people seem to and I don’t understand why. It’s so much cheaper, super versatile, and doesn’t have this bullshit surrounding it :/

This would bankrupt most small animation companies. They would be forced to a) ask for more money from clients and be passed over for cheaper places (which would give them less contracts, force them to fire most staff, and eventually (probably) close). B) be forced to switch to a new program and retrain their current team or hire a new one.

And not even just companies; this would hurt anyone who freelances, wants to learn the program, schools…

Hello my lovelies! I’m sure you’ve missed me~ Last month I decided to have a life, so I skipped out on whatever happened. I guess Blue House won and everyone rejoiced and it was all gay and stuff

In this installment, we begin with everyone preparing for the luxury cruise that takes place after the 5 days of that oh-my-sweet-dudley-jesus-fuck-awful cricket match that has lasted the better part of my senior year at college. I can’t tell you how happy I am that that shit is finally over. Apparently this luxury cruise requires Ciel and all the other boys to dress up into more of the manga-ka’s outfit designs. Unfortunately, Ciel’s size more closely resembles that of a house cat rather than a normal, adolescent boy, so the clothes hang off him and everyone squee’s at the kawaii-desu-ness.

Luckily, Sebastian has enough foresight (or gary-stu qualities) to have brought the exact same outfit in a toddler’s small. So, we cut to Ciel swaggin’ it out in front of the fawning ladies (and Finny for some reason) as all the rugged, sports champs line up to get this moment commemorated as a staple in the athletic history of this incredibly masculine school.

Y’all look fuckin’ ridiculous.

So…uh, in the next few pages it’s revealed to me that this is not, in fact, a luxury cruise to help the young lads simmer down after five straight days of organizational protocol and formation routines. No, it’s actually more organizational protocol and formation routines! Just what these boys need! Evidently, the winning team gets to row a boat out onto the lake in perfect, choreographed harmony wherein everyone on shore releases paper lanterns and they salute the Queen. You know, for all her hard work winning that cricket game and stuff. Makes sense to me.

Unfortunately, the routine can’t be completed, however, because Larry calculated the likelihood of their victory and concluded that Professor Michaelis was more likely to become a flamboyantly gay sex therapist than they were likely to win the ball game. So, they hadn’t practiced. At all.

And hey, would you look at that!

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE WRONG, LARRY?!

Anyway, even though they fucked up royally, they still get fireworks as the boys watch from the freezing cold lake. Little to they know, there’s a kid under the boat that’s drowning to death. Too bad everyone’s too busy admiring the sky explosions to care.

So after all that, everyone rejoices in a big party and there’s dancing and crazy amounts of detail and holy shit Yana you must never want to draw another flower again as long as you live.

Ciel and the rest of Blue House returns to the dorms after that. And from the looks of the thanks-for-the-sex present on Ciel’s bed, he’s been invited to the super-secret, no-girls-allowed, past-your-bedtime tea party! Surely in a manly school such as this, anyone who is anyone would want to go to the tea party. Sebastian, bring it on home with your favorite part of the day!

McMillian looks almost as excited about it.

After that, everyone is tucked soundly into bed and Ciel dons the flower signifying his worth. Clayton accompanies him to…some building I guess… where the tea party is being held. All the other plastics are there to swear him in as Cheslock provides mood music in the form of the most intricate drawing of a pipe organ I’ve ever seen. O_o

Jesus H Christ Yana what the hell are you doing drawing manga? You should be transcending time and space to go hang with Michelangelo and Raphael. This organ has pipes on its pipes!

So Ciel finally makes it to the garden where the Principal sits with Claude standing next to him. Obviously, we need more mystery, so we still can’t see his damn face.

Everyone takes a seat at the table where there is tea and cakes and fruit and all things super-secret-y. Larry proposes a toast, but before the festivities can begin, Ciel’s got a few questions for Mister-y over there.

How about all the missing kids, huh? How about Derrick Arden, huh?! Why’d you move people into purple house and they lie about it, HUH?! HOW MANY LICKS DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO THE CENTER OF A TOOTSIE-POP?! HUH?!?!?

Claude’s gotta stop him right there because, duh, the principal who’s covering his face and not saying anything has nothing to hide. What’s Ciel talking about anyway? Derrick Arden is fine and he’s right there.

WHAT THE HELL, MAN?! We thought you were dead! If you were here the whole time, how the hell have you been exempt from classes while everyone else has had to listen to creepy old Michaelis ramble in Latin for two hours every day?! Not cool, bro!

Anyway, I’m curious again as to what is going to happen. FINALLY. It took about 6 months for me to actually care about this manga again! Thanks for bringin’ it back, Yana. We all knew you had it in you. <3

Can I just say that I’ve never made a rape joke? Back when I was 18, making some of my Kuro comics and animations, I never had it in my mind that anyone was getting raped. Yeah, I had a couple scenes where Ciel acted like he didn’t want to be in bed with Sebastian, but that’s the way his personality is— he has too much pride to admit he wants something and Sebastian knows him well enough to understand what he’s comfortable with.That’s how I always perceived their relationship and that’s how a majority of my fellow shippers see it as well. I don’t condone rape. People getting raped is a horrible thing that needs to become more recognized as a serious crime.

It never even occurred to me that people perceived anything I did as rape. I make fun of a lot of things that happen in Kuro canon, so if you think that what happened to Alois was rape, maybe instead of pointing fingers at me for putting it in a comic, you should attack the writers for showing a kid getting taken advantage of as part of the plot. I did not do that.

Lastly, I’m hardly in the fandom anymore so anything being scrutinized by butthurt idiots is over 2 or 3 years old. No, I’m not going to apologize because I haven’t done anything. I’m a comedian. I make jokes. None of which condone sexual abuse. I may make light of what happens in the Kuro fandom and parts of the plot, but I would never make fun of a rape victim. In this day in age, all you have to do is say the word “rape” and people are thrown into a frenzy. It’s a hot-button issue and while I agree that it should be brought into the spotlight for more shaming and punishment of rapists, you can’t shame people for it when it’s just not there. All you do is make a lot of noise. If you want to stop rape culture, how about devoting your time to causes that support justice for victims or longer prison sentences for rapists instead of shitting on my little jokes about fictional characters?

What I think it comes down to is the fact that some people don’t like my work or my sense of humor. That’s fine. You don’t have to. I don’t give a shit. Most normal people would ignore it and move on with their lives. Sadly, some people today are way too high and mighty to think there might be things out there that would offend them. Oh no! Someone made a joke that offends me! Better insult the writer personally and write hateful things about them! Get the fuck over yourself.
